Dear colleagues,
The seminar “Integrating New Migrants in the New Europe: A Challenge for Community Psychology” is organized by the Department of Social Psychology (University of Seville ) and it is sponsored by the ECPA (European Community Psychology Association).
It will take place in Seville in the upcoming days 19th, 20th and 21st of September 2007.
It aims to facilitate the creation of an European space for research experts to:
1) Share the knowledge and experiences about processes of community and social integration of migrants in the receiving societies;
2) Analyze the impact that these migrations have for the donor countries; and
3) Incorporate the perspective of the Community Psychology (CP) into this analysis, propelling its influence at European research forums.
We encourage you to share and to join interests and projects, making this Seminar a major breakthrough for future groups, coalitions and partnerships.
We hope to see you in Sevilla!
Jose H. Ornelas (ECPA. President)
Manuel García Ramírez (Seminar Chair. Universidad de Sevilla)
